Biography

Olubunmi Oguntayo is a highly experienced Medical Laboratory Scientist with over 19 years of hands-on clinical, diagnostic, and laboratory management experience across hospital and diagnostic laboratory environments.

She currently works with Quest Diagnostic Laboratory, where she specializes in Clinical Biochemistry, Haematology, Blood Transfusion, and Quality Control processes. Her expertise covers advanced laboratory diagnostics, equipment calibration, internal and external quality assurance, and compliance with laboratory quality management systems.

Olubunmi previously served as a Chief Medical Laboratory Scientist at Ifako Ijaiye General Hospital, Lagos, where she led laboratory operations, supervised diagnostic services, and contributed to ISO 15189 quality implementation and audit readiness.

She holds a Bachelor of Medical Laboratory Science and is a registered member of the Medical Laboratory Science Council of Nigeria. She is widely recognized for precision, professionalism, patient safety advocacy, and excellence in diagnostic healthcare delivery.
